Emergency Dental Care
Toothache, a broken tooth, a lost filling or crown, swelling. Call us and we will get you seen.
If you are in pain right now, call the office nearest you. The number is at the top of this page and at the bottom of every page on this site.
An emergency visit is about stopping the pain and dealing with any infection. The longer-term repair, if there is one, comes after, once you can think straight.
What to expect
- A call to the office so we know what is wrong and can fit you in.
- Relief first. Pain and infection are dealt with at the visit.
- A plan for the permanent fix, if one is needed, once you are comfortable.
Cost and insurance
Emergency visits are usually covered like any other exam. We will not let paperwork delay getting you out of pain.
Common questions
What counts as an emergency?
Pain that will not settle, swelling in the face or gums, a tooth that has been knocked out or broken, or bleeding that does not stop. If you are not sure, call anyway.
A tooth has been knocked out. What do I do right now?
Hold it by the crown, not the root. If you can, put it gently back in the socket; otherwise keep it in milk. Call us straight away.
